So you have to set up one, or even two, registers, inform the persons concerned, implement privacy by design and by default in your company, respond to requests from the persons concerned, etc. Don't panic, we are here to help you. Let's take stock together of your legal maturity in terms of personal data.
GDPR compliance audit
The first step is to audit your compliance with the GDPR and other national legislation on the protection of personal data. We accompany you in this audit, as well as in the identification of your processing operations and the setting up of your processing register. A final report is then drawn up indicating the action plan to be implemented.
Compliance support
Once your register is completed, we will assist you in making your company compliant with the GDPR: drafting of various regulations and protocols, training, coaching of your teams, etc. This support requires a perfect collaboration of the company which will have to adopt sometimes new processes in its daily functioning.
Data breach
The GDPR defines a data breach as a breach of security resulting in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. It is therefore not only about data hacking. An email forwarded to the wrong recipient, or a power failure can constitute such a breach. Depending on the seriousness of the consequences for the persons whose personal data are processed, this breach will be subject to (i) an entry in a register, (ii) a notification to the Authority, as well as sometimes (iii) communication to the persons themselves. The deadline for notification is 72 hours. In case of violation, contact infuero urgently for personalized assistance.
Data subject request
Individuals whose personal data you process have the right to ask you what data you process about them, for what reason, on what legal basis, for how long, etc. They also have the right to ask you for a copy of their data. They also have the right to ask you for a copy. You have one month to respond to such a request. However, you must respond without violating the rights of other individuals. When you receive a request of this type, contact the firm to benefit from a personalized accompaniment to answer this request within the time limit and without making any mistake.
Data Protection Officer (DPOaaS)
The GDPR recommends, and sometimes requires, the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (also known as a "DPO"). The DPO is appointed on the basis of his professional qualities and, in particular, his specialized knowledge of data protection law and practice. He informs and advises the data controller, monitors compliance with the RGPD and assists in carrying out impact assessments. The firm can act as DPO for your company, from 600 € per month.
